JOIN US

A person is eligible for membership if that person, meets any of the following categories:
Member

1. The person(s) is a full time resident of Berks County.
2. The person(s) has reached the age of 21 years.
3. The person(s) must be Nigerian, either by blood, by descendant, or by marriage

Associate Member

1. The person(s) is a full time resident of Berks County.
2. The person(s) has reached the age of 21 years.
3. The person(s) does not have to be Nigerian, either by blood, by descendant, or by marriage

Distant Member

1. The person resides outside the territorial boundaries of “Berks County,” Pennsylvania.
2. The person(s) has reached the age of 21 years.
3. The person(s) must be Nigerian, either by blood, by descendant, or by marriage

Student Member

1. The person(s) is a full or part time student subject to approval by Executive Committee.
2. The person(s) has reached the age of 18 years.
3. The person(s) must be Nigerian, either by blood, by descendant, or by marriage
4. The person(s) is a full time resident of Berks County.

APPLICATIONS

1. Each application for membership in the Nigerian Association of Reading and Berks County as Member, Associate, and Distant Member, shall be in writing for review and recommendation. The application shall be presented to the Membership Committee.
2. The Membership Committee shall present the application at the general meeting for consideration.
